The mission of the African American Alliance for Homeownership, Inc. (“AAAH”) is to promote home ownership opportunities through annual fairs, homebuyer education classes, and counseling services. AAAH helps African Americans, people of color, and low-income people become first-time homebuyers. AAAH’s vision is to reduce financial and racial injustice around homeownership, generational wealth creation and retention within communities of color.
AAAH has hosted the Annual African American Homeownership Fair for 22 years, attracting thousands of prospective homebuyers and housing professionals. AAAH has tracked over 1,700 new homeowners because of our annual fairs. The AAAH is a non-profit, HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency, with trained NCHEC counselors, who have adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling. AAAH counselors are also HUD certified.
VFair is a virtual event hub with interactive exhibitor booths where you can chat with housing industry experts in real time and participate in exciting and informative presentations.
People of any background who are interested in purchasing their first home, homeowners who wish to avoid foreclosure, make repairs, or improve the energy efficiency of their home, industry professionals looking to make connections, and anyone interested in the programs that AAAH and our partners offer.
