The mission of the African American Alliance for Homeownership, Inc. (“AAAH”) is to promote home ownership opportunities through annual fairs, homebuyer education classes, and counseling services. AAAH helps African Americans, people
of color, and low-income people become first-time homebuyers. AAAH’s vision is to reduce financial and racial injustice around homeownership, generational wealth creation and retention within communities of color.
AAAH has hosted the Annual African American Homeownership Fair for 22 years, attracting thousands of prospective homebuyers and housing professionals. AAAH has tracked over 1,700 new homeowners because of our annual fairs. The AAAH is a non-profit,
HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency, with trained NCHEC counselors, who have adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling. AAAH counselors are also HUD certified.
